All bodies are welcome in this class, as yoga should meet you where you are. You will balance dynamic movements with refreshing breath and poses, and universal meditation. This class will help to relieve stress that we carry in our bodies and improve balance and coordination. Kim has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and earned her 200RYT in Raja Yoga, under Felicia Lane Savage of Yoga Roots on Location. Her training and background include study and practice of the eight limbs of yoga through an anti-racism lens. Kim has been trained in Antiracist Humanistic Organizing with The People’s Institute for Survival Beyond Racism. She is learned in trauma informed care and the spirit of motivational interviewing. Kim believes that anybody can do yoga, as yoga meets a person where they are at in their lives and in their bodies. Her one hope is that students will be able to cultivate peace, light, and love in their personal yoga practice, and bring those gifts out into the rest of our world.
