T’AI CHI CH’UAN T’ai Chi Ch’uan is an ancient Chinese exercise for health, fitness and relaxation. Derived from the martial arts, T’ai Chi is composed of slow, deliberate movements, meditation and deep breathing – which enhance physical health and emotional well-being. Many studies have shown that of all forms of exercise, T’ai Chi is the most effective for improving balance.
Because of the emphasis on correct body mechanics, alignment and mental focus, T’ai Chi can improve any sport, dance, and artistic endeavor.
Whether you’re a senior, a young athlete or a “couch potato” T’ai Chi can improve your performance, your posture, your balance, deepen your breathing, relax your mind and body.
