Artists are invited to render a live model in their chosen medium and style. This is an open session without instruction.
A model (female or male) will be set in a single pose through the three hour session in approximately 25 minute intervals.
Models will be nude but a costumed model may be used from time to time. The pose and lighting will be set and timed by the session monitors.
The model will be positioned to allow artists an almost complete 360 degree vantage point to select from (first come first serve).
The pose will afford both figurative and portrait artists an opportunity to practice their interests.
Artists must bring all supplies they need as well as easels.
Artists should also bring a sufficient supply of paper towels and cleaning fluid to clean-up any spills.
A public restroom is adjacent to the drawing room.
A limited amount of seats and folding tables will be available.
Artists are encouraged to engage and enjoy each other’s work during breaks and after the session.
Music is permitted at the artists personal discretion, but earbuds will be required to avoid distracting other artists.
Beverages and snacks are allowed but artists are required to clean-up their space.
