This class will teach foundational methods in finding ground( e.g. : contact surface area the ground beneath ,support and root ). This will enable the student’s ability to transcend into lightness, buoyancy, and further spacial awareness and focused attention on breath. The lessons will be gentle in approach and all levels are welcomed . Modifications will be encouraged and assisted to meet each student where they are in practice. The lessons will be flow oriented with a focus on both internal and external alignment , navel center to periphery and one’s mid-line . The use of small muscular contractions will be encouraged by softening the skin, ( one’s tissues) in which to navigate from asana to asana (e.g. form to form ). The lessons also focus on a heightened awareness and attention of both internal and external stimuli with moments of pause and reflection.
